As DRI’s science writer and media lead, Elyse helps share the story of DRI’s research with the world. With a background in wildlife ecology, environmental science, and science communication, she strives to translate complex scientific topics into clear, engaging language that transcends the boundaries of academia. As a first generation college student, helping everyone — regardless of educational background — access the beauty of scientific discovery is core to her work.
