Jessi LeMay in addition to being thephotographer, videographer, and storyteller for DRI, Jessi manages DRI’s role in the science lecture and storytelling series Science Distilled (based in Reno, NV) and DRI Science at the Springs (based in Las Vegas, NV).
As a visual storyteller, she usesa unique blend of photography, videography, and live events to capture the work of environmental researchers and the beauty of the American West, particularly in the face of climate change.
Prior to herrole at DRI, Jessi was contracted bya wide range of organizations, such as the Reno Rodeo, Washoe ArTrail, Governor’s Points of Light, Nevada Division of Forestry, Nevada Humane Society, High Desert Montessori Charter School, One Truckee River, and Woodburn & Wedge, among others.
Collectively, my portfolio showcases stories of place identity, community, and the story of the American West’s shifting identity in the face of a changing climate.
