Join Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument (TUSK), the Protectors of Tule Springs, and DRI for a weed pull to remove harmful invasive plants on your National Monument. Weed wrangler volunteers learn, practice, and foster a habit of maintaining an ecosystem and help prepare for future replanting with native species.
When:Â Tuesday, August 6th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
What to bring:Â Plenty of water, sturdy shoes, and your favorite gloves. Â We will also have gloves available for volunteers to borrow if needed.
Where:Â Meet at the TUSK/Eglington Preserve Kiosk. Â From Aliante Parkway and Grand Teton, go EAST on Grand Teton for about 1/2 mile to a white sign on the left that says “TUSK Kiosk.” Turn left at the sign onto the loose asphalt road that follows the post and cable fence on your left, and you will see the kiosk just ahead on the right. Parking is next to the kiosk on the asphalt parking area.
