Why Give to DRI?

Inspiring Solutions for Today and Beyond

DRI’s team of engineers, students, and staff are currently conducting important environmental research aimed at preventing and addressing some of the world’s most complex environmental challenges.

No matter the challenge – whether it’s the link between air quality and risk of contracting COVID or other health-related conditions, climate change and extreme weather, drought and water availability, DRI is on top of these and many other pressing environmental-related challenges in order to find innovative ways to address them.

Today, more than ever, it is imperative that we invest in critical research to better understand and address the serious environmental challenges facing our world.  Our scientific research is soft-funded, and philanthropic support is a critical component of making this work possible. Because DRI scientists are not bound by the constraints of a tenure-granting system, they are free to pursue innovative and impactful science.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, DRI is exploring big environmental questions and developing solutions for tomorrow and beyond. Make a gift today to support their research.
